Dr. Radwan Asaad, MD, FACOG
Dr. Asaad was born and raised in Syria, where he completed his medical school at the University of Aleppo. After graduating in 2000, he did an internship at one of Aleppo hospitals before moving to the States to continue his medical education. After finishing a year of preliminary general surgery residency at Huron Hospital (Cleveland Clinic Health System) in Cleveland, Dr. Asaad joined Wayne State University in Detroit to complete his residency on OB/GYN. Since finishing his residency in 2008, Dr. Asaad has been in private practice with the Hutzel Women Health Specialists (HWHS). Dr. Asaad has a great passion towards teaching residents and medical students. He holds faculty appointments (Clinical Assistant Professor) at both Wayne State and Michigan State Universities. He is experienced in robotic/minimally invasive and pelvic floor surgery. He has been with Metro OB/GYN since 2018.
